The Family History Library has launched a full line-up of webinars for April 2022, including a “DNA Day at the Family History Library…” covering both beginner and intermediate sessions on genetic genealogy.

Two additional DNA classes during the month will help you Solve Brick Walls with Y-DNA in Denmark, and a case study in Swedish/American Immigration and DNA will help you with techniques for finding an unknown father.

While planning your schedule, take time to update your basic research skills by attending several beginner sessions on Help and Resources in FamilySearch, the Catalog, Record Hints and Attaching Sources (in Family Tree), Adding Memories, the Wiki, and Best Practices and Reason Statements, and then move on to several specific research classes including an Overview of English Poor Law(s), Post 1834 Poor Law(s), Parish Chest Records, Pauper Apprentices, Workhouses.org, and model the Canucks in the Canadian Census, plus a Spanish language class entitled: Parientes del Caribe: Buscando sus antepasados en las islas del mar (Relatives of the Caribbean: Searching for their ancestors in the islands of the sea).

No registration is required. All class times are in Mountain Daylight Time
